3. How is your personal information collected?

When you use or access our website we collect, or a service provider, such as our web host, on our behalf collects your personal information via the following means:

  • Voluntarily provided personal information.  We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when using our website, such as when you communicate with us via the Contact Us form.

  • Automated technologies or interactions. As you interact with our website, we or a service provider on our behalf, may automatically collect technical information about your equipment and browsing (such as IP address information).  Further, we may use cookies technology (see Section 4) and other similar tracking technologies or web analytics tools to collect such information.

We use web analytics tools (cookies) ensure functionality and security of the website.  We also use cookies for analytics purposes, to better understand traffic to our website. 

When you visit our website, you will have the opportunity to accept or reject certain cookies.  You can also set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when websites set or access cookies.  Some web browsers may transmit “do-not-track” (DNT) signals.  We currently do not respond to DNT settings in your web browser.

We do not sell personal information.

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill any lawful purposes we collected it for. In most cases, this will mean that we keep personal information about you for the period of three years.

We use reasonable technical, administrative and physical security measures to protect your personal information.  We of course cannot guarantee that any information, during transmission through the Internet or while stored on our systems or otherwise in our care, will be absolutely safe from unauthorized access or use. You use the website at your own risk.

8. Children’s privacy

Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 18.  We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 18.

Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect or share information about you. Your legal rights

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or detailed. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.

12. Information Collected from Individuals in California

Your legal rights

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.100 et seq.) (“CCPA”), if you are an individual who is a resident of California and whose personal information we collect and process, you may have certain legal rights with respect to such personal information. These include:

  • The right to request access to any of your personal information that we collect dating back one year before the access request is made.  Specifically, you have the right to ask that we disclose:

    • (i) the categories of your personal information we have collected;

    • (ii) the categories of sources from which we collect your personal information;

    • (iii) the business or commercial purpose for collecting your personal information;

    • (iv) the categories of third parties with whom we share personal information;

    • (v) the specific pieces of your personal information we have collected; and

    • (vi) if we disclosed your personal information for a business purpose, a list of the categories of personal information we have disclosed in the prior 12 months.

  • The right to request that we delete your personal information.  We will not delete personal information if we need it in order to fulfill our obligations to you, to protect the security or functionality of our operations, to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, or for certain other reasons.

Only you, or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that is authorized by you to act on your behalf, may submit a request for access to, or deletion of, personal information. 

We will not deny services, charge different prices, offer a different quality of service or otherwise discriminate against an individual for exercising the rights afforded to such individual under the CCPA.
